Donna Hobbs, owner and founder of Famous Donna’s, and I have worked together since 2008. I have had the pleasure of Donna and her staff catering several local events at our corporate office here in Franklin, Tennessee.
She is extremely professional, as well as incredibly talented and creative when it comes to the presentation of the food she serves. She strives for perfection, and will ensure that the customer is always satisfied. From simple event orders such as Danish trays, to full-blown formal events, Donna and her staff rise to the occasion to put on a fare that is enjoyable to all.

Donna was a true God-send for my wedding day. She took a genuine interest in making my special day a very memorable one. I could just relax and put everything in her hands. Many of the wedding guests commented on how wonderful the meal was.

Donna: You’ve been a great supporter of LP Building Products for about as long as we’ve been in Nashville! We’ve come to rely on you for a variety of events and know that, no matter what the plans are, you will help us accomplish our goal with great food, excellent attention and a cheerful manner. We appreciate your ability to think ahead and come prepared…for all kinds of things!
Donna has been our “go to” person for a number of years now…and for very good reason. She never tells me I can’t do or have something. She does let me know, however, if what I’m asking for is not going to work–but she always has a great idea that she can substitute for me. When we became involved with Extreme Makeover and took on the task of providing all the meals, Donna was one of the very first people on my list to contact. And, true to her nature, she stepped right up and took over the bulk of the work of finding folks to donate food and time to the event. That’s just how she is…always wanting to help and doing so with a very positive, creative outlook. That’s the kind of attitude that makes every event SPECIAL. We LOVE Famous” Donna.

I love it when I see Donna’s truck at my job. Because I know I’m about to eat some good food. She has cooked for my company several times and every time has been absolutely a delight. Donna is the best, and if you want the best, you should use Donna!!!!!

Donna is a legend at Lighthouse Christian School. I heard of her as soon as I arrived as campaign director for our Phase 2 Preschool construction. She is a joyful provider of all things good to eat and we were so grateful to her for providing the lunch meal for our new board members last week. We appreciate and love you, Donna!
I attended the Dickson County, Tennessee American Cancer Society Auction wrap-up and awards event at the Tennsco Center in Dickson the other night and wondered who the planning team had acquired to cater the meal. When we moved down the buffet line the food looked and smelled so good! And when I returned to my table and tasted the barbeque chicken, the wonderful Southwest Potato Salad, and other dishes on the buffet as well as the delicious sugar free banana pudding and the cakes the others at my table could not stop talking about how delicious the food was! I did return to the buffet table for a 2nd helping of the Southwest Potato Salad! Then Donna came around to our table and spent some time with us telling us her story and about her catering service and we soon realized that the food was not the only wonderful thing about this catering service; the caterer, Donna, and her staff were some extra special and friendly folks also. When Donna announced at the end of the dinner that she had some to go boxes available for folks who may wish to take some with them you should have seen the rush to the buffet line, especially to the Southwest Potato Salad! I have to admit that I was one of those who rushed to the table and my wife, who had not been able to attend the dinner, went on and on about the food when I took mine home. Keep up the excellent work Donna! Thank you for the quality that you obviously seek after in your food, your staff and your service! God Bless! Rev.
